The Curatorial Narrative

Sourced from a historic residential courtyard in the high valleys, this portal has stood against the mountain seasons for decades, absorbing a deep, rich charcoal-and-amber patina that only time, wind, and touch can bestow.

The entire facade is a dense, breathtaking tapestry of ancestral Kandaari carving. The thick Dehleez pillars mimic the heavy, stacked geometric capitals of old timber mosques, rising to meet a layered top lintel that features fluid, scrolling floral relief panels.

The double doors are set with deep, square-set panels, each showcasing a hand-carved rosette inspired by the ancient Gandharan visual heritage.
